Welcome to our Redesigned Website

Our redesigned website was launched on April 25 2006.
The update in website design signifies a shift and forward step for the NOTD Aftermath community. Our philosophy of gradual and consistent improvement, or kaizen, has made much of this possible. |

Our website was redesigned to address many flaws in the old design and server. Many of our Firefox users could not properly access our website in the past due to html coding issues. Our website was admittedly made by individuals who had little or no experience in web design, but it served its purpose during the first few months of 2006.
In addition to design incompatibility with Firefox users, our old server was also inaccessible to users from China, and partially accessible Europe and Singapore. Our server has since been shifted to the United States and offers a better connection to most users. It is a more reliable server with less time outs and down time issues. Many users were also unable to register on our forums, a problem which have since been remedied.
Our new website design features more game content delivered in a simple and accessible layout. We have articles on Classes, game strategy and issues (TacNet), as well as other articles on general issues relating to our community and beyond. It will take a few weeks for the website's content to mature and stabilize. We have also introduced Google Adsense advertisements in order to pay for our initial investment on the website and new server. It would be our hope that as many users as possible will support our cause.
We are gradually broadening our scope beyond NOTD Aftermath to discuss more general issues such as Politics, Science and Technology, and general Warcraft III map development and project hosting. In the long run, we aim to build a diverse community who are tied by a common interest in discovery and the belief in freedom of expression. We seek to raise the average age of our users to 27 years in order to nurture more fruitful and insight based discussions and exchanges of ideas.
We continue to thrive and grow because of the commitments and encouragement of many members of the NOTD Aftermath community. It was not long ago that NOTD Aftermath was just a small Warcraft III custom map played among a close group of friends. Not all of today's changes were anticipated, but we remain continuously thankful for the oppurtunities and blessings that have come our way. We strive to continuously improve ourselves, each and every passing day.
