June 2010: Who still plays?

So I remember NOTD:AM being the best damn UMS ever. Literally haven't even played WC3 in at least 2-3 years but just randomly felt like reinstalling it today. I don't recognize any of the games out there except DOTA but I was hoping the small but awesome NOTD community was still around.

So yeah not a lot of activity on these boards but maybe some of you guys are still there. If so, what server and channel do you play on?

Supposedly there is still one or two clans around somewhere, but I haven't seen many NOTD games recently. There was a bot hosting it a few weeks ago but I got on last night and didn't see anything.

The bot is still online. But if you just want to find games by looking into the gamelist that surely turns out to be difficult, coz there are many bot hosted games cancelling each other out with their autorefresh. /whois on name of bot always works.

The bot is still hosting and people are still playing, but there is so much DOTA that it's rare to find a NOTD game, I myself personally take around 40 minutes looking in the list just for a game when, but just /whois the bot and it should give you a game

I'm still somewhat active on Azeroth although I don't play near as much as I used to. finding a notd: am game is easy... just /whois notd-host the biggest problem I see is getting enough players to start the game... sometimes the wait before the game starts is longer than the game itself.

I usually log on USEast to play. The bot is hosting from Clan SAD so I usually go in there and see how many people are waiting in lobby.

But after one year, and 11 medals + Bgen, i'm a little bored :)

I played for a brief time compared to most that are reknown, but i suddenly felt like playing notd again, theres just something about it that always makes you want to come back, i cant put my finger on it.

needless to say, im installing it today and i hope to find a game, cheers ;)

Been a long time since I started, but I'm a relative nobody, and if you remember one of my old SNs I'd be impressed(ChildrenofKoRn, TheLastShaper, FabledOne).
Only noteworthy thing about is I was taught, trained, w/e by Repher. Well that and if I can find my FT cd-key I'll jump back in any chance I can get.

I don't get on WC3 much anymore but when I do, all i want to do is play NOTD. Anyone I used to play with are most likely gone or converted to DotA. If by any chance we meet, I still remember the game but don't be surprised if we get a 15,000 HP Eta that crits... or massive poppers. Oh yeah, USEast too by the way.

The only semi-active communities I know of are US East and Garena.

I play occasionally if I see a familiar face around.
