Hi guys,

I'm a very old player who's interested in seeing NotD brought to SCII. Some of you may not know, there is a hero leveling system in SCII. I'm a part of beta, and I've seen some custom maps such as TD's and such with heros that level. I was wondering if anyone is developing the map for NotD: AM in SCII?

Yes there is. But not everyone of the community is neccessarily going to SCII.

I see no reason not to. The Galaxy is vastly superior to the World Editor. If there's someone with the motivation to create such a map of NotD's stature, then I'm sure everyone will be more inclined to move. I know there were a couple of people considering an creating a NotD on SC2. I know Saki is creating her own version of the map http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/notd-angelic-days/. I stumbled upon it while searching for NotD maps on SC2. I'm sure as time passes, more developers will be eager to develop a map with such a rich history as NotD.

Not sure if it's the same - imagine not, but there is a NOTD map up on the SC2 games list, which is unnervingly popular. Lots of folks seem to play it, but very, very few understand how to play it well. I've gotten to the 2nd chapter two or three times now, but only with two or three people who stay. It's a pretty brutal learning curve from the end of chapter 1 into chapter 2, and the map is definitely in it hard BETA stages. Classes are unlocked via XP gaining akin to NOTD:AM, but you don't need to enter a code each time. It's apparently keyed to your SC II account itself! Ingenious idea I'd say! Not sure how they've done it, but my XP loads up on screen for me to select a character each time I go into the game. I think there are nine classes, with the last three being at a pretty ridiculous amount of XP for now much you can potentially earn each match (based on how often folks die/leave b/c they get bored/frustrated). It's a good segway into something bigger and better, but definitely not an end product I'd like to see representing the series.

Still lurking, but with minimal time to play anymore. I had my old desktop crash, so I'd have to reinstall WC3, and I'm not sure if my account is active.
