To all those who celebrate the holiday.
I myself, will be off and on for the next couple of days. And will be examining a few things throughout the rest of the week.
So as the holiday season begins, have fun and stay safe.
As an FYI, I will be posting a staff recruitment, my personal goals/hopes for the community as we look towards the future, and after a bit of thought as the new community administrator of sorts...my take on development projects both now, for the future, and for those that we'd like to conceptualize and plan for (such as for SC2) but can't really do much in the way of test or do much more than develop concepts for.
Where as my former colleagues may have decided to play a more inactive role or in Aza's case, she was the original developer of the project and thus played a big part in getting this all started. I've decided that while I may not possess map development skills (or even time to develop such skills), I am going to spend the time I've elected to devout to this community to play a more active role in seeing that projects both now and in the future are done with respect to what became the founding principles of this project.
That while, we are here to "blow some shit to pieces and send the zombies packing". We are also here to provide a sense of realism, and educate the players about the USMC/US Military. Since this is a "fictional" based project, we are including zombies and what not...some bit of latitude shall be granted, but only in some respects.
More specifics at a later date and information in regards to an early SC2 concept contest will be next week.
